Ultra-Endurance Enthusiast, Divorce Coach, Single Dad Raising Boys, Public Speaker, Author, Advocate for Special Needs Children, and Co-Founder of “Between the Sheets” Podcast

Brendan Neil is a solo ultra-endurance athlete, community advocate, and founder of The Divorced Dad - a transformative platform helping men navigate the emotional and practical challenges of divorce and single parenting. With a heart as strong as his stroke, Brendan has spent over 25 years using his physical endurance to fuel social impact, raising awareness and funds for Special Schools across Queensland, Australia.

In 2023, Brendan was named Individual of the Year at the Sunshine Coast Community Gala Awards, recognizing his tireless work connecting the broader community. His solo ocean swims and ultra trail runs - often covering distances of 100+ kilometers - are not just feats of endurance, but acts of advocacy.

Beyond the ocean, Brendan is the founder of The Divorced Dad, a platform born from personal experience and built to support men through one of life’s most difficult transitions. Through workshops, coaching, and community, Brendan empowers fathers to rebuild their lives with purpose, presence, and emotional strength.
